Day 382 - Read Ezekiel 36-37

The word of the Lord came to Ezekiel and proclaimed blessings on the land, and it would be fruitful. The Lord would vindicate His people for His name’s sake and would put His Spirit in them. The Lord gave Ezekiel a vision of a valley of dry bones. The vision represented Israel and the hope and life the Lord would give them as He returned them to their land. The Lord gave Ezekiel an illustration using sticks to explain how He would bring them together. They would be under one ruler who would be the Christ, a descendant of David. The Lord would dwell with His people through His Spirit and would sanctify them forever.
