Day 245 - Read Psalm 10-14

David cried out to God for help. His song of desperation ended in praise and honor toward God for His power and justice. Chapter eleven is a testament to God’s ability to see truth and to pronounce judgement on all men. Chapter twelve is an accusation against the wicked and an expression of hope in the Messiah to be revealed. Chapter thirteen is a plea to God for salvation from enemies. David sought salvation from his enemies while he expressed hope in God’s faithfulness. Chapter fourteen is a prophetic song, pointing to the Messiah to come. David looked forward to the salvation to come to Israel out of Zion through the line of Jacob.
