Day 35 – Read Luke 21-22

A widow gave sacrificially while others gave out of their wealth. Jesus told of the coming destruction of the temple and end times. Disciples will be persecuted, but will receive wisdom as to how to respond. Judas prepared to betray Jesus for money. Jesus instituted the Lord’s Supper, then went to pray for the Father’s will to be done. He prayed so earnestly, sweat dropped from Him like blood. Jesus was arrested, and Peter denied Him three times. The chief priests and the teachers of the Law questioned Jesus and sought to kill Him.
