“Seeking God In Times of Trouble” Matthew 21:1-16
For Parents of Preschoolers
We are currently studying through the Bible using a curriculum called The Gospel Project. Right now we are in the New Testament and had been talking about the life and ministry of Jesus over the last several months. This week they will talk about Stephen’s address. The story of Stephen reminds us that we can face suffering in this life because Jesus suffered first. This story is from Acts 6:8-7:60.
Attached below is the preschool Bible story video, lesson, activity page and coloring page that goes with the story:
For Parents of Elementary-Aged Children
We have prepared a parents’ guide for you to use this Sunday morning with your 1st through 5th grade children. Also, the video your children enjoy in Children’s Church each Sunday morning, may be enjoyed by your entire family this Sunday. Here’s everything you need:
AWANA (2 years to 5th Grade)
During this time when we aren’t able to meet for AWANA we still want to encourage the kids to continue to work on their books. Attached below is a resource provided by AWANA that has all of their books. As kids work on their AWANA lessons and memory verses, parents can initial where it says “leader” as they are completed. The kids will receive their bucks for this work when we are all able to get back together!
For Students (6th to 12th Grade)
Lifegroups will plan to meet Wednesday night. Times for each group are still to be determined. Students should read Chapter 1:13-18 and watch the video before meeting with their group. Students should download the RightNow Media App to their phone and sign up. They should also download the Zoom App and get signed up as we will be using Zoom to meet online. Students will receive a link inviting them to their group meeting.
