AWANA stands for Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed.

 

AWANA is a marvelous program inspired to bring children to Christ!

Numerous children have come to Christ because of coming to AWANA! 

AWANA encourages verse memorization, which helps the child later on in their life to remember what God’s word says. A child who goes all the way through the awana program will learn approximately 550 verses! What an amazing spiritual foundation for a child to have before they are even a teen!

 

AWANA key verse is 2 Timothy 2:15 NKJV

"Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth. "

 

AWANA is held each Sunday night from 5:00 –7:00 pm during the school year. There are three different age groups that the children are divided into.

 

Cubbies is for ages 3 and 4 

 

Sparks is for grades Kindergarden to 2nd Grade 

 

T & T is for grades 3rd through 6th grade
